Interruptions. They can be pesky or life-changing, expected or ambush us, brief or prolonged. Whether you’re coming in or out of one or stuck in the middle, we’ll search for God’s footprints in the uncertainty. We’ll navigate these interferences through the wisdom and light of the scriptures and find the purpose behind life’s intrusions. We’ll rest in the promise that God has not forgotten us, and that He will guide us through these interruptions so we are stronger and wiser on the other side.
I am a Wisconsin native, Texas transplant and now Tennessee settler, keeping residence in the Greater Nashville Area. I am married with three grown children and enjoying the empty nest phase of life.
My writing adventure started on a most circuitous path. I had spent the first 10 years out of college in the Oil and Gas Industry training others on the computer. Not feeling fulfilled at this job, I noticed my church was offering a CLASS Seminar (Christian Leaders Authors Speakers Seminar), so I signed up. This short but impactful event kindled the desire to write.
In the past 10 years, my freelance adventures have stretched me to write preschool curriculum for LifeWay Christian Resources, devotionals for the Brentwood Baptist JourneyOn Today online app, articles and a children’s story for Focus on the Family, and now a blog.
I’m grateful you took the time to tarry here. I hope you’ll find hope on these pages and even share your interrupted life with me. Feel free to contact me on the home page or comment on a specific blog.
You are loved,
